Chapter House

In an attempt to assist the community, promote a fraternal atmosphere, create an environment centered around assisting others and promoting scholarship, Phi Kappa Tau in the fall of 2008 moved from its long standing home on North Heights to a new facility at 826 Pennsylvania Avenue. This move was to increase security of the housing facility, and allow our brothers a faster commute to campus (now a five minute walk to the campus core). Due to a large influx of members and a high demand for rooms, our organization has outgrown that house, and is looking to expand by acquiring another house as an annex house to allow all brothers a safe and affordable place to live!   (details will be made available as soon as possible!)

Our Ritual House at 826 Pennsylvania Avenue, accross from Lyden Residence hall boasts an indoor and outdoor security system, kitchen (two refridgerators; stove), shower facilities, all utilities included (gas, water, electric), cable television, highspeed internet, washer and dryer facilities, ability to put small refridgerator in room, ability to get DVR and HD boxes, and a variety of room options for members. It is a different environment from a dormitory or that of living at home, but allows the member to utilize the entire house, instead of just one bedroom. Phi Kappa Tau is proud of the steps our fraternity is taking to ensure the safety, productivity, and entertainment value given to each of our members, and are always looking for new inovative ways to make our housing a viable, affordable, and benefital addition to the collegiate experience.  Contact our Housing Corporation at
